About the ASU Map Index
Use the search box above to find paper map sheets and historical maps in the ASU Maps Collection. Reference books and atlases can be searched using the ASU Online Catalog.
The ASU Map Index contains records on more than 95% of the maps available in the Collection. Each record in the Map Index includes information on the title, author, date, scale, subject and the geographic area covered by each map or map set. Holdings for map sets and series in the Map Collection are available on paper indexes in the Collection. Historical maps, formerly held in the Department of Archives and Manuscripts and the Arizona Historical Foundation, now available in the Map Collection can be searched in the Map Index.
Important note:The Libraries ceased to add new maps to the Map Index in 2005. To find maps added since that time please use the ASU Online Catalog.
